The Lifeline Personal Alarm service is designed to help elderly and disabled people continue living safely in the comfort of their own homes. With a personal alarm, users can call for help 24/7, all year round, simply by pressing a button around their wrist or neck.
The standard personal alarm system comes in two separate parts: the base unit and the pendant button. The pendant button contains the latest in telecare technology and is manufactured by UK leaders Tunstall.
The lightweight pendant button can be worn around your wrist or neck; both attachments are provided, so the choice is yours. Despite its compact size, the red button on the pendant is a third larger than the previous model. This makes it easy to use and discreet enough to conceal under your clothing if you wish.
Our pendant is waterproof, so you can still call for help if you slip in the bath or shower. You’ll also be able to call for help if you fall whilst outside in the garden, as it has a range of up to 100 metres from the base unit.

The pendant button connects to the Lifeline Alarm base unit. This is a compact box which can be installed by the alarm user or a loved one in just a few minutes. It simply plugs into your telephone socket and mains power, with your telephone going into the back of the alarm unit via the adaptor provided.
The personal alarm base unit contains a loudspeaker, which our Response Team will use to speak to you in an emergency. You can then respond via the built-in microphone.
A 40-hour support battery will boot up during a power cut, ensuring that you really do have help available all year round.
